Isolation and Characterization of Bacteriophages Against Non- typhoidal Salmonella Enteritidis and Salmonella Typhimurium. Salmonella virus

Salmonella is a major causative agent of foodborne illness resulting in million cases of salmonellosis and significant deaths every year globally. In addition, raising of multidrug-resistant Salmonella contamination is posing enormous difficulties and challenges in food contamination management. However, recent years bacteriophages have showed a significant effect on the inhibition of bacteria both in vivo and in vitro including salmonella.
