Phylogenetic analysis of the genus Geranium Sections Mexicana and Sibirica (Geraniaceae)

Section Mexicana of the genus Geranium (Geraniaceae) comprises G. thunbergii, G. wilfordii and G. tripartitum, and it is known that G. sibiricum (Sect. Sibirica) is related species of this Section. In addition, although some intraspecific taxa of these species are described, phylogenetic relationship of these species remains unresolved. We performed multiplexed inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) genotyping-by-sequencing (MIG-seq). These data will contribute to reveal phylogenetic relationship of Sect. Mexicana and Sect. Sibirica.
