Ophiosphaerella herpotricha, O. korrae and O. narmari are the causal agents of spring dead spot of bermudagrass. These fungal pathogens colonize roots of susceptible bermudagrass causing necrosis and death of plants. This is the first report of Ophiosphaerella from different hosts and geographical locations. The genomes of 11 isolates were sequenced using short- and long-read sequencing technologies.
