Cleaned Census and Demographic Input Data for Retail Suitability Analysis in Germany
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides the cleaned input data used in the study “A Geospatial Framework for Retail Suitability Modeling and Opportunity Identification in Germany” to model retail suitability and identify underserved market areas in Germany. The file, input_tidy.gpkg, contains a single table with 214,633 grid cells at 1 km² resolution. Each row corresponds to a grid centroid and includes demographic attributes aligned to the 2011 German Census micro-grid. The columns are: x, y: Projected grid coordinates (ETRS89 / UTM Zone 32N, EPSG:25832). pop: Population count. women: Number of women. mean_age: Average age of residents. hh_size: Average household size. This tidy input dataset underpins the multi-criteria suitability modelling and spatial autocorrelation analyses reported in the paper. It is shared to ensure reproducibility and transparency, and can be reused in future research on retail geography, spatial demography, and applied GIScience.
