This accession contain data from Nine Seas III cruises conducted using many different ships. The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between March 28 and August 31, 1989. The data were sent from the cruise ships to the National Ocean Service, Rockville, MD via telecommunication. This data was submitted by Mr. Woodward E. William and is currently available in the C116 file format of NODC.
