VPRS 10038 Records of Chief Engineer, Eildon Project

This series contains collection of records accumulated by the Chief Engineer, Eildon Project - Edward D. Shaw. It appears to have come from his office and comprises unregistered working subject files created by the Chief Engineer for easy reference purposes - single items of correspondence registered by the State Rivers and Water Supply Commission (VA 723) can be found within this sequence of records. These should form part of the General Correspondence Files, Annual Single Number Systems contained in VPRS 6008. This collection also includes copies of publications and reports, press cuttings, lecture notes and lantern slides, working papers, photographs and numerous pamphlets. It appears that at least some of these records were in frequent use after the Chief Engineer had retired and some new items were added on to this collecrion before it was transferred to the PROV in 1981.
