This repository provides code and data for the paper "Energy-Efficient Control of Interacting Microscopic Systems: When Longer Paths Save Energy". The repository is structured by dividing it in two experiment and one numerics part . experiment1 => data and code for Fig. 3 & 5 experiment2 => data and code for Fig. 6 numerics => data and code for Fig. 4 In each Folder a more detailed description of the Folder Content is offered. All matlab scripts were run with Matlab version R2025a. To setup a virtual environment to compile the Python files see .\experiment\python\Setup.py and the corresponding requirements.txt.
