A mock community was diluted into different concentrations in triplicates. The DNA of all dilution samples was extracted using two different kits. The 16 S rDNA was amplified, sequencing libraries generated and sequenced. Taxonomies were identified for each of the samples and triplicates compared with each other including the testing of different contamination filtering methods.
