aemet_warnings.csv This file contains the grouped climate warnings extracted from SINOBAS: alert_id → Unique numeric ID of each grouped alert. xml_filename → Source filename from SINOBAS database (e.g., alert_2025-08-28_GranCanaria.xml). date → Date/time when the alert was issued (CAP field sent). expires → Expiration date/time of the alert (CAP field expires). msg_type → Type of message (Alert, Update, etc.). event → Event type (storms, wind, precipitation, etc.). response_type → Recommended response (None, Monitor, etc.). urgency → Urgency classification (CAP: Immediate, Expected, etc.). severity → Severity classification (Minor, Moderate, Severe, etc.). certainty → Certainty classification (Likely, Observed, etc.). description → Detailed description of the alert (CAP field description). instruction → Instructions on what to do (CAP field instruction). event_code → Event code as per AEMET table (Annex of Plan Meteoalerta). nivel → Alert level (e.g., amarillo, naranja, rojo). parametro → Parameter of the alert (e.g., RM;Maximum gust of wind;70 km/h). probabilidad → Probability range (e.g., 40%-70%). affected_areas → List of areas affected (to be joined with aemet_areas.csv). season → Season of the year associated with the alert. year → Year of the alert. matches_pc_alert → Flag (0/1) indicating whether the alert matches an original Protección Civil alert.ç aemet_areas.csv This file contains the geographic reference areas. area_id → Unique numeric ID of the area. area_desc → Area description (e.g., Cumbres de Gran Canaria). polygon → Polygon coordinates of the area (list of lat,lon pairs). geocode_value → AEMET Meteoalerta geocode for the area (Annex 2 in Plan Meteoalerta). geometry → Geometry representation (useful when converting to a layer (e.g. a shapefile). alerts_civil_protection.csv: file_name → Original PDF filename of the alert (Protección Civil report). alert_id → Unique numeric ID of the group of alerts (for example one yellow level wind alert and an orange level wind alert triggered on consecutive days). event → Type of event (e.g., wind, storms, heat, etc.). emission → Date/time when the alert was emitted. start → Start date/time when the alert becomes effective. end → End/expiration date/time when the alert is no longer valid. el hierro, la palma, la gomera, tenerife, gran canaria, fuerteventura, lanzarote → One column per island (binary/int flags, usually 0 or 1) indicating whether the alert applies to that island. status → Status of the alert (Active, Cancelled, etc.). level → Level of the alert (amarillo, naranja, rojo).
