Manche schwer traumatisierten gewalttätigen Kinder bevorzugen zur symbolischen Darstellung des Aggressionsthemas Material, das Unbelebtes repräsentiert, und lehnen Mensch- und Tierpuppen im therapeutischen Spiel ab. Darin spiegelt sich eine spezifische Abwehrstuktur der Entlebendigung mit der unbewußten Phantasie von Unverletzbarkeit und Unzerstörbarkeit, wie sie als Reaktion auf massive Traumata entstehen kann.
