This dataset contains clumped isotope data pertaining to a bioapatite based temperature calibration and measurements of fossil shark teeth. Calibration data was obtained from modern tooth specimens collected from both aquarium reared sharks and wild caught specimens from sites around the globe. Also contained here are isotope measurements of fossil shark teeth including Otodus megalodon and other ancient sharks obtained for the purpose of determining the thermoregulatory ability of Otodus megalodon.
