Effects of Multitype Team Diversity and Team Formation on Team Effectiveness [DATASET]

This repository contains supplementary materials for a study on team diversity, team formation methods, and team effectiveness in higher-education student teams. Due to GDPR and institutional data protection requirements, individual-level student data cannot be publicly shared. To support transparency and reproducibility, the repository provides: • A fully documented spreadsheet implementing the complete diversity-calculation pipeline used in the study, including normalized metrics for range, spread, separation, and disparity across different attribute types.• Python scripts used to compute correlation matrices and Fisher z-comparisons.• Synthetic illustration datasets that replicate the structure and approximate distributions of the original data without containing real student information. Together, these materials enable researchers to reproduce the analytical workflow, understand how diversity indices were operationalized, and apply the same methods to other datasets. Access to the original anonymized team-level dataset may be requested through the Ethics Committee of the University of Twente under a controlled data-use agreement.
