Single-cell RNA sequencing reveals effect of Apoa4 on renal cells from mice with diet-induced obesity

Metabolic inflammation induced by obesity accelerate the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD). During this progression, immune microenvironment plays important role. However, the precise subsets of immune cell that exacerbate kidney injury remain elusive. ApoA4 deficiency increases the kidney disorder of metabolism and immune and kidney injury. This study aimed to profile the renal immune cells affected by ApoA4 in the CKD. We performed scRNA-seq on renal cells from WT and Apoa4-deficient mice with high-fat diet-induced obesity (DIO).
