资源简介:
Dataset Description: Integrating Group Psychotherapy and Exercise in Multiple Sclerosis – Pilot Study Data
This dataset contains anonymized, longitudinal data from a pilot study evaluating the effectiveness of "Your Health Belongs to You," a six-week group intervention combining psychotherapeutic techniques and physical exercise for individuals with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The intervention aimed to improve quality of life, emotional health, and symptom management, with a focus on depression, anxiety, fatigue, and overall well-being.
The dataset includes demographic information, clinical assessments (HADS, ORS, GSRS, FSS), and attendance records for both intervention (n=55) and waiting-list control (n=13) groups. Data were collected at baseline and Week 6, with weekly measurements for the intervention group. Key variables include Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) scores, Outcome Rating Scale (ORS), Group Session Rating Scale (GSRS), and Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) scores, alongside demographic and clinical characteristics such as age, sex, education, disease duration, and Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) scores.
Due to ethical and confidentiality considerations, raw data containing sensitive patient information are not publicly available. This dataset supports the findings published in the associated study, highlighting significant improvements in well-being and functioning among participants.
