In my paper, The Prime-Coherent Hypothesis: A Speculative Framework Linking Number Theory to Universal Coherence, I propose an idea that connects prime numbers to the concept of coherence in physical systems. My hypothesis suggests that prime numbers might govern the organization and behavior of systems, from quantum materials to cosmological structures, by acting as "irreducible information states" that minimize entropic interference and maximize coherence. The central idea is that prime numbers, as indivisible units in number theory, could play a key role in minimizing redundancy and maximizing the organization of information in physical systems. I model this mathematically, where prime-indexed subspaces decompose a quantum system’s Hilbert space, and the entanglement entropy is minimized in a way that mirrors the density of primes. From this, I speculate that prime-indexed phenomena could be seen in systems like superconductivity and CMB fluctuations, with the structure of the primes potentially showing up in patterns of correlation and coherence. I also link number theory to physics by connecting the distribution of primes to the behavior of physical systems through the Riemann zeta function. I suggest that the zeros of could correspond to critical points in the energy spectra of systems influenced by primes. I extend this by proposing the idea of "prime waves" in strongly correlated systems, which mediate long-range order through interference at prime wavelengths. I make several testable predictions, such as the appearance of prime-indexed nodes in ARPES data, quantum oscillations in materials, anomalies in the CMB, and even in biological systems like protein fibrils. I address skepticism by acknowledging the speculative nature of the hypothesis, but I emphasize that it’s testable and serves as a foundation for future work. I conclude by inviting others to engage with and refine this framework, pushing the boundaries of our understanding of primes and their potential role in universal coherence. In essence, my paper is a bold and speculative attempt to explore the idea that prime numbers are intricately tied to the coherence of both physical and cosmological systems, and it lays the groundwork for further theoretical and experimental explor ation.
