For each taxa, values indicate abundance (according to standard CPR methodology, see Richardson et al. 2006, Prog in Oceanog 68. 27-74), values of 0.001 indicate presence only, zero values are absence of taxon. The excel file consists of samples in rows, with the following information in columns - A: sample id B:midpoint of sample latitude in decimal degrees C:midpoint of sample longitude in decimal degrees D:midpoint of sample local date and time E:sample year F: sample month G-J:taxa.
