Pakistan Fuel Prices since 2006 (OGRA, PSO)

Pakistan's notified pump prices for petrol, diesel, kerosene and light diesel oil since January 2006, and the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority's (OGRA) daily per-litre price build-up since 21 July 2026. Every figure is traced to an archived source document. This is a dated snapshot (28 October 2026) of the files published at https://eklitre.pk/data/. The files there update shortly after each OGRA or Pakistan State Oil (PSO) publication; for the latest figure use them or the API. Credit: ek litre (eklitre.pk), from OGRA and PSO notifications. Files daily.csv (21 July to 28 October 2026): one row per fuel per day: OGRA's pump price, every line of the build-up, the three groups (fuel, pump, government), and whether PSO's price agreed. notified-prices.json (1 January 2006 to 27 October 2026): effective date, petrol, diesel, kerosene and light diesel oil, in rupees per litre, with the PSO page capture each row was read from. history.json (21 July to 28 October 2026): every published day in full: build-up lines, groups, the source document (OGRA URL and SHA-256), and any notes. All prices are Pakistani rupees per litre unless a column says otherwise (usd_* columns are US dollars per barrel; rs_per_usd is the exchange rate OGRA applied; litres_per_bbl is OGRA's conversion factor). Read this before plotting the long series notified-prices.json keeps PSO's archive as PSO published it, and flags what doesn't hold together instead of correcting it: contested: dates where PSO's archive shows more than one price for the same fuel (for example four different figures dated 1 January 2006). All are kept; none is picked. contradicted: a single notification that stands far clear of the notifications either side of it. disputed: a PSO figure that differs from OGRA's own published figure for the same date, with OGRA's document cited. refused and concerns: figures not recorded at all because they read as impossible, with the reason. daily.csv has a cross_checked column (OGRA's and PSO's prices agree) and a notes column.
