资源简介:
MAP studies are a tool used for the monitoring of product availability and accessibility, using pre-defined criteria for coverage, quality of coverage and access. The main objectives of the 2007 Malaria MAP survey in Cambodia were to assess the geographical coverage and quality of coverage of PSI's Malarine, Malacheck, Malatab and Malanet products at the village and commune levels in selected high, medium and low risk malaria endemic areas, and to provide estimates of market penetration and of access to these products. Also, we look at other available non-PSI products. The MAP methodology employs the Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS) technique to draw a random sample of 19 communes from each of three supervision areas (strata) within the malarious areas of the country: high, medium, and low endemic areas. This LQAS assessment of geographic coverage determines the proportion of communes inside each supervision zone in which a product is available.
