资源简介:
We randomly selected 12 Yorkshire pigs from the Changping pig breeding farm of the Institute of Animal Science, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and individually raised them in a cardboard box at a constant temperature of 35 degrees celsius. These piglets did not receive colostrum and were fed BaoBaoLe milk. At three days of age, eight piglets were infected with 1 mL of PEDV (10 TCID50/ml), a G2 mutant virus isolated from the jejunum of pigs at Beijing Liuma Pig Raising Technology Co., LTD in 2014. The remaining four piglets, serving as the control group, received 1 mL of 0.9% normal saline. Within four days after infection, four Yorkshire pigs died and were considered the death group. Conversely, the four surviving individuals were classified as the resistant group. Pigs in the resistant and control groups were anesthetized with xylazine hydrochloride at seven days of age and then dissected. Jejunum tissues from the piglets in all three groups were collected, washed with 0.9% saline, and stored in liquid nitrogen for subsequent transcriptome analysis.
