RAD sequencing of the Kangaroo Island micro-trapdoor spider

Catastrophic wildfires impacted large areas of western Kangaroo Island, South Australia, burning habitat for many species, including large proportions of the distributional range of the trapdoor spider Moggridgea rainbowi, and leading it to being listed as Endangered under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act. In order to assess genetic population structure in Moggridgea rainbowi and detect diagnosable lineages and their distributional patterns across Kangaroo Island, samples from remaining populations were sequenced using double digest RAD sequencing methods.
