Algal hyporheos and hyporheic chemical data

Two 4th order streams were monitored for presence of algae in hyporheic sediments. Data from both surface stream and hyporheic sites was collected, including discharge, nutrients, DOC, DO, and chlorophyll a. Primary productivity and organic substrate uptake experiments were done using hyporheic sediments. A species and genera list of diatom taxa from hyporheic sediments was generated.
