资源简介:
The presented dataset comprises nine experiments conducted on a shallow packed bed with an aspect ratio of 0.5, evaluated under varying inflow configurations and fluid flow rates (see folders 1 to 9). For each experiment, the packed bed was heated from ambient temperature to approximately 773 K using hot air, with subsequent cooling with air at nearly ambient temperature. Temperature was measured using thermocouples strategically positioned below, within, and above the packed bed at various radial and axial locations. Pressure transmitters recorded the pressure drop across the packed bed, while an infrared camera monitored the surface temperature of the bed during the cooling phase, adding value to point wise measurement data of thermocouples. A particle size analysis was performed using the software ImageJ, with the results included in the "0_GeneralInformation" folder, which also contains details about the infrared measurements, sensor description etc. Additionally, the "10_AllPlots" folder provides an overview of the data from each individual measurement device, such as thermocouples and mass flow sensors, offering a quick summary of sensor outputs.
The accompanying article, submitted in Data in Brief, shows structured data examples and detailed analyses, including examples of infrared photography as well as a comprehensive description of the experimental conditions and test setup.
