This study compared the transcriptional response of Candida glabrata micafungin exposed cells. Overall design: We cultured C. glabrata in YPD containing 0.06 µg/ml micafungin for 24 hours, harvested the cells, isolated total RNA using the Qiagen Rneasy kit, and sent the RNA to Genewiz for RNAseq. Untreated cells were used as controls. 3 biological replicates for micafungin treated samples and 2 biological replicates for untreated samples were collected.
