Data for: County-Level Spatial Analysis of Diabetes Mortality in the US–Mexico Border Region, 2018–2023
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the spatial analysis of diabetes mortality across the US–Mexico border region at the county and municipality level, covering the period 2018–2023. The repository contains three folders: • data/raw/ — Raw input data from CONAPO (Mexico municipal population projections by year and by age-sex group, 2018–2023) and CDC WONDER (US county-level multiple cause of death, 2018–2023). Note: INEGI raw mortality microdata (defunciones_base_datos, ~780 MB) is included as a separate upload due to size. • data/external/ — Shapefiles used for mapping. Includes Mexico municipality and state boundaries (INEGI Marco Geoestadístico: 00mun.shp, 00ent.shp) and US county and state boundaries (US Census Bureau TIGER/Line 2024: tl_2024_us_county.shp, tl_2024_us_state.shp). • data/processed/ — Intermediate R data objects generated by the analysis pipeline (File 1). Includes joined county-level map datasets for crude mortality rates and age-standardized mortality rates (ASMR) for both the US and Mexico border region. Disease classification: LISTA_MEX codes 20D and 43I (Mexico); ICD-10 codes E10–E14 (USA).Age standardization: WHO World Standard Population 2000–2025.
