This dataset contains four tarballs and three .csv-files containing point forecasts at Utö location and observations from Utö mast. The data is used in the manuscript: "Effects of model resolution on predicting atmospheric ducting conditions with Harmonie-AROME" by Hämäläinen et al. (2026). In the study, the effects of model resolution on forecasting atmospheric ducting conditions was examined and compared against in-situ obervations.
The tarballs include point forecasts for four different model resolution combinations.
The horizontal resolution was tested for 2500m and 750m.
The vertical resolution was tested with 65 and 90 hybrid levels.
The model data includes hourly forecasts.
The csv-files include the observational data form Utö measurement station.
