This resource contains supporting data for the publication \"\"Climate change threatens water resources for major crops in the Serbian Danube River Basin by the mid-21st century\".
A SWAT+ model for the Serbian Danube River Basin (part of the middle and lower Danube River Basin) was developed to assess the impacts of climate change on green water (soil moisture) and blue water (surface and groundwater) resources, focused on the agricultural regions of the basin.
Datasets contained in this resource include:
-Spatial data delineating the basin, the model grid, the model reach network, and other input datasets (digital elevation model, land use map, and soil database/map).
-SWAT+ model files, include default simulation using observed weather data, and input files for 10 model instances (5 climate models and two Representative Concentration Pathways).
-Python codes to (1) modify the SWAT+ land management input files at the HRU scale to represent detailed irrigation and crop rotations, and (2) extract remotely-sensed evapotranspiration data from Google Earth Engine for model calibration.
-R code to execute the SWAT+ executable file in a high performance computing environment.
-R codes and associated data to generate the figures presented in the manuscript, including model outputs.
