Images and Report from an Archaeological Watching Brief at 3 Hailors Croft, Butterton, Staffordshire Moorlands, Staffordshire, July - August 2023

This digital archive comprises images and a report from an archaeological watching brief at 3 Hailors Croft, Butterton. The work was carried out between 18-Jul-2023 and 31-Aug-2023 by Steven Price of The Archaeology Co. The work was undertaken during groundworks associated with the new garage and driveway creation. The site showed the topsoil overlaying a thin, mixed, subsoil layer over the natural clay and bedrock, which lay close to the surface. No archaeology was found due to the proximity of the natural bedrock to the surface.
