Shotgun Metagenome of Sheeps (Ovis aries) and goats (Capra hircus) Metagenome

This study aims to investigate the impact of Moringa oleifera leaves on the microbial community from 9 sites of gastrointestinal tract in sheeps (Ovis aries) and goats (Capra hircus). The primary focus is to understand whether the beneficial effects of this dietary combination are directly linked to changes in microbial composition. Utilizing a metagenomic approach, the research seeks to analyze how varying amounts of this feed influence the structure of the gastrointestinal microbial community in various sites and the alterations in functional genes and pathways.
