Untangling the dynamics of community reassembly during microbial coalescence

The data generated in this project are used to study the ecological processes of microbial community coalescence using soils as our study system. The project selected three distinct soils, that were biotic manipulated at three biotic dilution levels, and set an experimental approach by mixing the soils in pairs within the same dilution level. Changes in community taxonomy, metabolic profile, and functioning were evaluated to understand community restructure after coalescence, especially in comparison to the donors.
