One third of BRAF-mutant metastatic melanoma patients treated with combined BRAF and MEK inhibition progress within six months. Treatment options for these patients remain limited. We sequenced the exomes of eight matched pre-treatment and progressing melanoma pairs using Illumina Exome TrueSeq. The tumors were derived from 8 BRAFV600 mutant melanoma patients treated with combination dabrafenib and trametinib.
