Decoupling depressive symptoms and interpersonal pleasure: a longitudinal person-centered analysis in Chinese young adults

This repository contains the de-identified data supporting the manuscript “Decoupling depressive symptoms and interpersonal pleasure: a longitudinal person-centered analysis in Chinese young adults.” The baseline dataset includes 711 Chinese young adults, and the four-month follow-up dataset includes 161 participants. The variable study_id is a non-derivable participant code used to link records across the two waves. Every study_id in the follow-up dataset corresponds to one baseline record. Direct identifiers and private linkage information have been removed. The publicly shared files contain no identity-card information, names, email addresses, telephone numbers, IP addresses, submission timestamps, source details, or residence province. No private-to-public ID linkage key is included. Questionnaire item wording is retained in Chinese. PHQ-9 scores represent self-reported depressive symptom severity and should not be interpreted as a clinical diagnosis. Version 2 contains the de-identified replacement datasets. Files associated with Version 1 have been restricted and should not be used.
