Data for the research of public and fdi in Zimbabwe. . Data was obtained from several sources including the World Bank, the IMF, RBZ and Zimbabwe Statistical Office (ZIMSTATS). Data was collected on the two main variables for the study namely public debt and FDI. Public debt is the independent variable of interest whilst FDI is the dependent variable. FDI was measured by the FDI net inflows (in US$ million) for Zimbabwe for the period 1990 to 2021. Public debt was proxied by total government debt in US$ Billion.
