SDG 12.4.2 Hazardous waste generated per capita kilograms

This dataset reports the estimated amount of hazardous waste generated in Qatar per person. Hazardous waste is waste with properties capable of harming human health or the environment and is regulated and controlled by law. Hazardous waste generated refers to the quantity generated within the country during the reported year before collection, preparation for reuse, treatment, recovery, recycling or export. Generated waste includes exports and excludes imports. The per-capita value relates total hazardous waste generated to the population; it is a statistical average and not the amount generated by every individual. Values are kilograms per person. The uploaded observations are classified as estimates. The dataset covers the period from 2006 to 2023.
