资源简介:
Ground-based measurements of tree height, crown depth, and crown radius for >50 species of hardwoods and conifers for the Carolina Piedmont and Southern Appalachians. Data were collected in order to generate allometric relationships to use in a forest gap model and for the purposes of comparison against remotely sensed crown measurements (videography and LIDAR). Analysis published in: Dietze, M., M. Wolosin, J. Clark. 2008. Tree allometries: capturing diversity using a Hierarchical Bayes approach. Forest Ecology and Management 256:1939-1948
