Survey Dataset for Assessing Depression, Social Anxiety, Loneliness, and Game Addiction Among Female Players

Game addiction is increasing among female players of Bangladesh day by day, which hinders the performance of players remarkably. A study is conducted to gather information about female players' gaming addiction. With the help of experts, the study is conducted for 2 years. In order to figure that out, the primary raw data has been collected from 131 female respondents through a self-administrated survey form questionnaires. The questionnaires consisted of 4 main factors (Depression, Social Anxiety, Loneliness, and Game Addiction), and in total contained 29 questions. The questions were analyzed via using the Likert-scale on a score of 5 with derivatives as the following 1 as Never, 2 as Rarely (or Seldom), 3 as Sometimes, 4 as Often, and 5 as Very Often as the determining and scoring factors. To make a dataset, all responses were converted to a Comma-separated values (CSV) file. This dataset represents the factors of psychosocial metrics of game addictions that impact the female players in Bangladesh, which will help future research in managing gaming addiction of female players.
