资源简介:
Magnetic spin textures exhibit rich physics and hold promise for information technology applications. In rare-earth transition metal ferrimagnets, we observe a persistent magnetic stripe domain pattern with full magnetic return-point memory (RPM), unaffected by out-of-plane (OOP) magnetic fields even after saturation. Notably, these domains retain their OOP contrast regardless of OOP applied field direction but can be fully switched by only a weak in-plane field near 0 mT. In this study, we aim to employ advanced coherent x-ray imaging to investigate the high field dependence of magnetic stripe pattern and their magnetic RPM. In addition, we plan to explore the relationship between emergent skyrmions and faint magnetic stripes by examining their topology and chirality around 50 mT, where skyrmion-like textures appear on top of a weaker magnetic stripe background that seems to act as a guiding pathway for skyrmions. This study will provide insights into magnetic RPM behavior and its potential for ultrafast memory and logic device applications.
