Transcription factors are key proteins for normal development. Their aberrant expression is often observed during cancer. This study focuses on the role of the ETS TF FLI-1 and the LDB1 complex during the process of erythroleukemia and megakaryopoiesis. These proteins interact together in erythroleukemic cells. Then, we hypothesized these TF cooperate during these processes. To test this hypothesis, we combined ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq and 3C-Seq experiments in MEL cells and megakaryocytes. The integration of these data demonstrates that FLI-1 and the LDB1 complex contribute cooperatively to erythroleukemia and megakaryopoiesis by directly activating the expression of leukemia and megakaryocytic genes.
