资源简介:
Hydraulic models of the Siletz River, Oregon, were developed using the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Hydraulic Engineering Center River Analysis System (HEC-RAS; version 6.5). A one-dimensional (1D) steady-flow model was developed from Moonshine Park to the City of Siletz, Oregon (river kilometer [Rkm] 87.2 to 68.5). Results from the 1D model provided insights into longitudinal patterns of river channel hydraulics along the study reach and served as input for a bedload sediment transport model (Keith and Jones, 2025). Additionally, a two-dimensional (2D) unsteady hydraulic model was developed for a shorter reach of the Siletz River near Twin Bridges Park (Rkm 77.0 to 74.0). The 2D model provided higher-resolution hydraulic characterization of water depths and velocities needed for o better understand hydrogeomorphic conditions and potential implications for fish habitat. Descriptions and details of the Siletz hydraulic models, including bathymetry, model development, calibration, results and associated analyses, can be found in the accompanying report (Jones and others, 2025). This data release contains a zipped folder containing the 1D and 2D model files for the Siletz River including input, model, and output files, as well as associated metadata and readme files.
