To identify the effect of 16 weeks of neoadjuvant anastrozole treatment on gene expression profiles of oestrogen receptor positive breast tumours from post-menopausal patients. Global gene-expression measured in core-cut biopsies, from 28 postmenopausal women with stage I to IIIB ER+ early breast cancer after 16-weeks’ anastrozole monotherapy in a neoadjuvant trial.
