资源简介:
This project investigates the gut microbiota composition in patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer (CRC) compared to healthy individuals, with a focus on how dietary habits and lifestyle factors influence microbial community structures. Fecal samples were collected from CRC patients and healthy controls, and metadata were obtained regarding participants diets and physical activity. DNA was extracted and subjected to 16S rRNA gene (V3-V4) amplicon sequencing. The sequencing data were analyzed to assess microbial diversity, identify differentially abundant taxa, and correlate microbial profiles with dietary and lifestyle parameters. The dataset contributes to understanding host microbiome interactions in CRC pathogenesis and may inform future preventative strategies based on modifiable risk factors.
