A total of eight samples from along Little Panoche Creek were floated to recover
organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon analysis. These samples were collected from a late
Holocene terrace adjacent to Little Panoche Creek immediately upstream of Little Panoche
Detention Dam, south of Los Banos, California. Botanic components and detrital charcoal were
identified, and potentially radiocarbon datable material was separated.
