Assessing the bacterial community composition of black soldier fly larvae from consecutive, industrial rearing cycles

The bacterial community compositions of black soldier fly larvae and its feeding substrates were studied during consecutive, industrial rearing cycles. To this end, samples were taken at two different time points during six consecutive rearing cycles in three rearing facilities. Samples were subjected to high-throughput Illumina sequencing.
