AMIR TEMUR – AS A GREAT STATESMAN AND OUTSTANDING MILITARY LEADER

This article examines the life and work of the great statesman and outstanding military leader Amir Temur, who ruled the country for thirty-five years. It also notes his numerous military campaigns, victories in major battles, conquest of numerous countries, and creation of a great empire whose borders stretched from China and India to the Caspian Sea, from the Aral Sea to the Persian Gulf. Furthermore, attention is focused on the strengthening of statehood through achievements in the political, economic, and cultural spheres.
