Demystifying SARS-CoV-2 from samples of COVID-19 patients of Chattogram, Bangladesh through whole genome sequencing

We strongly believe that successful completion of the project will let us understand the origin of the virus, route of its entry to our country, its pathogenesis and transmission patterns over time, and eventually formulation of strategies for our public health intervention. We also believe that it is a tremendous opportunity for the University of Chittagong to be a part of the nation in combating the ongoing pandemic situation.
