Cloud Radar System (CRS) Radar Level 1B Data Products from the GLOVE Field Campaign

The Cloud Radar System (CRS) dataset consists of radar reflectivity, vertical Doppler velocity, and linear depolarization ratio. Data were collected by CRS onboard the NASA ER-2 high-altitude research aircraft in support of the Goddard Space Flight Center's Lidar Observation and Validation Experiment (GLOVE) field campaign. The main goals of GLOVE were to validate atmospheric data products from the Ice, Cloud, and land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2) and the Earth Cloud, Aerosol and Radiation Explorer (EarthCARE) satellite missions. GLOVE was based out of NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center at Edward Air Force Base in California. The dataset files are available in HDF-5 format from February 03 to 20, 2025.
