American Distress Index - October 2026 release
收藏资源简介:
American Default Research publishes this dated public dataset of 86 quarterly derived national composite and five domain scores, covering 2005 Q1 through 2026 Q2. It describes U.S. household financial distress through historical comparisons of late loan payments, lenders’ losses, debt-payment burdens, labor and saving. Inputs are ranked within their available quarterly histories using Hazen percentiles, averaged within five domains, then averaged across equally weighted domains. The composite is a mean of input percentiles. It is not an official government statistic, the percentage of households in distress, an individual risk score or a forecast. This deposit preserves the October 2026 edition; historical values may change with revisions. The CSV was downloaded publicly on November 2, 2026. Its 86 quarter/composite pairs were checked exactly against the dated October release JSON. See the methodology, source series and limitations. CC BY 4.0 covers only included American Default Research derived scores and documentation. Upstream observation histories, household-level records and private warehouse data are not included or relicensed. See the bundled source-rights notice. The same public package is available on Hugging Face. Public read-only MCP access is also available.
