Kodiak SuperDARN FitACF files for August 2023 LANL experiments at HAARP
收藏资源简介:
FitACF files from the Kodiak Island SuperDARN radar (callsign KOD) generated from measurements taken during the High frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) experiments conducted by researchers from Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) at the Polar Aeronomy and Radio Science Summer School in August 2023. These data are used to generate the SuperDARN plots in the Anderson, et al., submission to Radio Science entitled "Optimizing HAARP beam pattern for generation of strong F-region field-aligned irregularities" (2025RS008343). Data may be interpreted and plotted graphically using the the pyDARN Python software package (release 4.0, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.10452339; https://pydarn.readthedocs.io/). The rawacf data used to generate these files were processed using standard SuperDARN FitACF version 3 algorithm from the SuperDARN Radar Software Toolkit Version 4.6 (https://github.com/SuperDARN/rst-archive/tree/rst.4.6). The raw SuperDARN data are available from the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) SuperDARN data server (https://www.bas.ac.uk/project/superdarn) or one of the other SuperDARN data mirrors.
