Innovative method orange gradient index (IMOGI): a new tool for assessing analytical methods in terms of innovation and modernization
收藏资源简介:
The Innovative Method Orange Gradient Index (IMOGI) is an Excel-based tool developed to evaluate the degree of innovation and modernization in analytical methods. The tool assesses analytical workflows using ten innovation-related criteria and provides a quantitative innovation score to support comprehensive method evaluation alongside sustainability and practicality metrics. How to Use the IMOGI Tool Download the IMOGI Excel file and open it using Microsoft Excel on a desktop or laptop computer. The tool is optimized for computer-based use and may not function correctly on mobile devices or web-based spreadsheet applications. For each of the ten IMOGI criteria, select the option that best describes the characteristics of the analytical method being evaluated. The tool automatically calculates the score for each criterion and generates the corresponding graphical output. The degree or gradient of orange color in each segment of the circular IMOGI figure reflects the score assigned to the corresponding criterion, with darker or more intense orange indicating higher levels of innovation and modernization. The overall IMOGI score is automatically calculated and displayed in the center of the circular figure. The generated IMOGI graphical output can be copied directly from Excel and used in reports, publications, or presentations to visually communicate the innovation profile of the evaluated analytical method.
