The saw system further comprising a detector configured to detect when a body part of a person is adjacent to or touching the saw blade. The at least one processor is configured to control the motor to stop rotation of the saw blade in response to the detector detecting that the body part is adjacent to or touching the saw blade. The saw blade including at least one hole that is filled with a weight-reduction insert.
