The effect of PGC-1α overexpression using adenovirus (PGC-1α-Ad) on hepatic gene expression was studied in mice primary hepatocytes. Overall design: The effect of PGC-1α-Ad was studied in male 9-week-old C57BL/6 mouse primary hepatocytes. Cells were treated with PGC-1α-Ad (MOI 1) for 36 h, GFP-Ad (MOI 1) was used as a control. Three parallel RNA samples were pooled in both groups. DNA microarrays were used for gene expression profiling.
